  In this workshop you will create a mirror frame out of clay that you will be able to decorate with textures, sprig mold and other hand made pieces. The frames will be glazed in the second class and a mirror will be provided to be glued on when complete. All materials included.

  Using textured rolling pins and mats, you will handbuild a tray. You will be able to use the texturing tools to add dimension to the tray.   There are more ways to add color and texture to your finished pottery pieces beside glazes. Underglazes for instance! In this class we will explore a variety of ways to use underglazes including painting on colored areas, sgraffito, watercolor effects, masking, and majolica. All experience levels welcome as we will be using both hand built and wheel thrown pieces to decorate. All materials included.
